DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY

From Concept to Industrial Deployment

Developing renewable-fuels infrastructure requires more than selecting individual technologies. AMBE Energy is progressing a structured development pathway designed to progressively reduce technical, engineering, commercial and investment risk.

01
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

Feedstock Characterisation

Characterising sustainable biomass resources and establishing feedstock properties, availability, handling requirements and operating parameters relevant to downstream conversion.

02
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

Technology Qualification

Evaluating gasification, syngas conditioning and downstream synthesis technologies against feedstock characteristics, performance requirements, scale and commercial deployment considerations.

03
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

Process Integration

Developing the interfaces between feedstock preparation, gasification, syngas conditioning and downstream conversion to establish an integrated process configuration.

04
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

Independent Engineering & Lifecycle Assessment

Building process mass and energy balances, engineering assumptions and lifecycle assessment frameworks to evaluate technical performance, scale-up requirements and carbon intensity.

05
FUTURE STAGE

Pre-FEED / FEED

Subject to development outcomes, future phases may progress toward Pre-FEED and FEED activities, further defining plant configuration, engineering requirements, capital requirements and project execution strategy.

06
FUTURE STAGE

Demonstration & Commercial Deployment

Subject to technical, commercial and investment outcomes, the longer-term pathway may progress toward demonstration and, ultimately, commercial deployment of integrated renewable-fuels infrastructure.

AUSTRALIA

Victorian Development Program

AMBE Energy’s initial development activities are centred in Victoria, Australia. The program is investigating the integration of sustainable biomass resources with gasification, syngas conditioning and downstream renewable-fuels technologies.

The development program is focused on building the technical, engineering, supply-chain and commercial foundations required to evaluate an integrated biomass-to-renewable-molecules platform.

LONG-TERM PLATFORM

A Platform Beyond a Single Project

The long-term opportunity extends beyond one plant or one biomass resource. AMBE Energy’s development philosophy is to establish a repeatable methodology connecting feedstock, conversion technologies, syngas specifications and downstream synthesis.
