Building Industrial Capability from Regional Australia
AMBE Energy Australia was established to develop industrial pathways for converting Australian biomass resources into renewable fuels and renewable molecules.
Headquartered in regional Victoria, AMBE Energy combines an entrepreneurial manufacturing mindset with process engineering, research collaboration and structured project development.
Our ambition is to help build globally competitive renewable-fuels and advanced manufacturing capability from Australia.
Turning Australian resources into renewable molecules.
To build scalable Australian industrial platforms that transform underutilised resources into valuable renewable molecules.
Five dimensions of project development
We believe successful energy-transition projects must ultimately work at the intersection of engineering feasibility, resource availability, environmental performance, commercial competitiveness and financeability.
Our development decisions are therefore guided by all five.
Engineering Feasibility
Establishing technically credible process configurations, interfaces and pathways for scale-up.
Resource Availability
Understanding sustainable feedstock availability, quality, logistics and long-term supply considerations.
Environmental Performance
Assessing lifecycle emissions, carbon intensity and broader environmental considerations across the value chain.
Commercial Competitiveness
Evaluating product pathways, operating economics, markets and potential offtake opportunities.
Financeability
Developing projects with a clear understanding of capital requirements, risk allocation and investment considerations.

Anmol Sharma
Anmol Sharma is the Founder and CEO of AMBE Group, a diversified Australian manufacturing and innovation platform comprising AMBE Foods, AMBE Trading and AMBE Energy Australia. Based in regional Victoria, the Group is building an integrated ecosystem spanning advanced food manufacturing, international supply chains, circular economy solutions and sustainable energy technologies.
A Chemical Engineer with a background in Chemical Engineering and Process Design from SLIET Longowal, India, Anmol brings more than two decades of experience across pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, process engineering, advanced manufacturing and food innovation, with professional exposure across India, the Middle East and Australia.
His early career included engineering and leadership roles with IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, CAD Middle East and IND SWIFT Laboratories, where he contributed to complex pharmaceutical, API and chemical manufacturing projects. Following his migration to Australia in 2014, he continued his career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and later contributed to food and protein innovation initiatives associated with CSIRO, before pursuing his entrepreneurial vision. The existing company profile also reflects his transition from major manufacturing organisations into establishing AMBE Foods in Colac, Victoria.
In 2020, Anmol founded AMBE Foods Pty Ltd, establishing JIWAN®️ as its flagship food brand. Under his leadership, the business has developed into an award-recognised Australian food manufacturer specialising in value-added dairy products, food innovation and advanced manufacturing. JIWAN products are now distributed across Australia, and Anmol is also the holder of a patent relating to an innovative paneer manufacturing process.
His work in manufacturing and entrepreneurship has received recognition through industry and community awards, including Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, Dairy Australia recognition, Top 100 Indians in Australia recognition and Sydney Royal Dairy Awards recognition. In 2025, AMBE Foods was also named a finalist in the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards.
Building on the Group’s manufacturing and process-engineering capabilities, Anmol established AMBE Energy Australia in 2026 to develop opportunities across biomass valorisation, carbon-negative energy systems, biochar, renewable fuels and green hydrogen. The platform is focused on creating pathways that convert agricultural and biomass residues into higher-value energy and industrial products, supporting the transition towards a more circular and lower-carbon economy. This direction extends the clean-energy vision already identified in his earlier profile.
Anmol’s long-term vision is to build globally competitive industrial businesses from regional Australia, combining engineering, technology, manufacturing capability and strategic collaboration. Through AMBE Group, he is working to strengthen connections between Australia and international growth markets, with a long-term outlook across New Zealand, the Pacific, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and wider global markets.
At the centre of his journey is a belief that regional Australia can be a powerful base for world-class manufacturing, innovation and sustainable industry—creating businesses that generate economic value while contributing to a more resilient and sustainable future.
